Summer Library Reading Program

Check out the pictures for our assembly with the Mercer County Library!   Their summer reading program is AWESOME!!!!     Students will be bringing information home with them this week!  You can also find it posted here!!!!!  

End of a Great Year!

As we come to a close on the 2014-2015 school year, we first need to thank you parents for your support throughout the year!  From helping your child with homework, reading, sending in various items, or volunteering - it all adds up!

Over the summer we hope that you and your child(ren) relax and enjoy the summer months.  The summer is still a great time for kids to learn.  Kids can read, practice math, write stories, explore and visit parts of Celina, Ohio, or the country!  The summer is a great time to show kids that learning is fun!

Thank you for a GREAT year!  Continue to check the blog and Facebook throughout the summer for updates and reminders.


To get a jump start on the 2015-2016 school year, here are some dates to keep in mind:

• July 27 - August 14: Summer School
• August 17-21 (7:00am - 2:00pm): pick up student's folders
• August 25: First day of School
• August 25: Kindergarten Orientation (a parent will attend with their Kindergartener - more information will be mailed over the summer)
• August 26 (5:00 - 6:00): Back to School night for grades K-2
• October 3: Carnival

In addition to some of the beginning dates for CPS, here is the district calendar for the upcoming year:

First Grade Field Trip to Zoo and the Fog

Due to today's fog and the 2-hour delay... the first grade field trip to the zoo will be rescheduled for Wednesday, May 20th.   

Please remember to send your child's packed lunch with them to school today.  We will still have the kids eat their packed lunch at school.
